Jolaade
Love me & mind not the colour of my skin,
My age, class & naïvete.
Love me wholeheartedly for who I am
For the sooth is my love for you is true.
Love me as I love you infinitely
& with redemancy – with the all of you.
Love me with the vibrancy of your natural way
For your pulchritude alone aglows my world.
Love me without condition & seek not excuse
To escape from this divine love.
Love me for my heart belongs to you
And show the world ours is an undying love.
Love me & dulcetly sing me a song
Sweet & soothing; lullabies at night
As your fingers brush over by chest
As we both count the stars in the sky.
